Low, Ball and Lynch is a San Francisco based law firm that has represented clients with vigor & skill since 1949.


Demonstrate the domain expertise of the law firm through a newly designed website.


With their new website design, they are able to communicate their success, relay the knowledge of their expertise, and attract new clients.


Background. Their previous website was dour, uninspiring, and not mobile-friendly. It didn’t showcase the depth, experience, and results of the firm. The various news articles, seminar information, and great results were all lumped into one big mush. There was a very confusing way to sign up for newsletters. When someone contacted them through the website, it wasn’t received by anyone within the firm, so they possibly missed many communications and clients.


Marketing.  We interviewed Low Ball about their target client and their differentiating traits.  Using all this information, we created three marketing sentences that conveyed the precepts they follow. We used these on the slideshow for maximum exposure.


Low Ball takes great pride in being a partner to their clients and cultivating long term relationships. We used the website to make Low Ball attorneys more approachable by creating space for a Featured Attorney of the month which could be changed in-house.


Organization. We refurbished their old logo, which looked tired and dull.  Next, we developed an information architecture that classified their voluminous content into neatly organized sections. We then created a new modern and sleek design for their website that had a navigation structure that made it easy to get to any content within 3 clicks. We designed a section that occupies a prime spot on the home page for their announcements and news about the firm. This lets them easily communicate information about seminars or any announcements.


Enable in-house editing. To keep them connected with their clients and others who want to engage with them, we created easy ways for them to sign up for newsletters. Using WordPress as the content management system, we made it easy for the in-house staff to add great results, add new team members, and seminars and announcements.


Maintenance and consulting. We have been retained to do monthly maintenance work, such as backups of the website and updating WordPress and the plugins.
